What’s going on here?
Saturday Jane is an ongoing experiment in the world of online publishing. It updates on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and is a current dumping ground for my thoughts, dreams, disasters, and other mental catastrophes. Sometimes I talk about cartoons and books.
Okay, who are you?
I’m Jessica. I have way too much in common with hobbits and ten year old boys. I love animation and action figures and drawing monsters. I also love fashion and photo shoots and playing with my fantastic niece. I have recently graduated from college with a degree in writing, and I am gainfully employed at a real estate agency, making the tacky ads you find in your mailbox.
Who is Taylor?
Taylor is a member of the order Lophiiformes (pronounced /ˌlɑːfiːəˈfɔrmiːz/). It is a bony fish named for its characteristic mode of predation, wherein a fleshy growth from the fish’s head (the esca or illicium) acts as a lure.

Why ‘Saturday Jane’?
Because ‘Monday Molly’ sounds silly.
