people i seen

12 Aug

This morning while I was driving to work, I saw a man strolling along the sidewalk.  He was well dressed, in his mid-forties, probably, and apparently also on his way to work.

This man was calmly using a broad, square, hot pink hairbrush to gently brush his face.

His entire face.

That’s all I wanted to say.

To combat this, I offer up: While walking from my apartment to the bus stop the other day, I heard a little snipping sound coming from slightly above me and to the right. It sounded exactly like someone clipping their nails. Casually, I looked up and saw amthis guy on his second floor balcony, clipping his nails. There are things that are appropriate to do outside on your balcony (water plants, enjoy a drink), but if you’re going to clip your nails in public, you should at least be on the third floor where I won’t have to make horrified eye contact with you.
