waiting for the gas to finish pumping

09 Jul

Me: So this really snooty looking white business man sits down next to me –

Taylor: Yeah?

Me: -and I’m just horfingdown this food, I was totally starving –

Taylor: Wait –

Me: -and the guy…what?

Me: Yeah, horfing. To horf. You know, like eating really quickly. Horf horf horf.

Taylor: Okay. Okay. I have heard of wolfing stuff. But not horfing. That is not a thing.

Me: It’s totally a thing.

Taylor: It sounds like Worf. Like the way Worf eats. Worf horfs.

Me: It’s like the sound that horses make when they run. HORF HORF HORF HORF. So it’s eating like…speeding horses.

Taylor stares at me for a full three seconds.

Taylor: Yeah. Because that’s really attractive.

I don’t know about horfing, but horking was used in Ratatouille, i.e. “Don’t just hork it down!”

Maybe that’s what I was thinking of! Horking. Horfing. Very similar!

This is how new words get made! Tell Taylor to stop pooping all over your creativity.

      Ha, he is right here:

Me: Do you have a response to this?
Taylor: No. Not really. Creativity is one thing. Horfing is another thing ENTIRELY.

Ok, I just died laughing. Google “horf”. I think you’ll be horrified by all the definitions. Sneak peek:

Urban dictionary: Throwing up, vomiting. Usually in large quantities.

WikiAnswers: A horf is a peeing rattlesnake that eats food from the city sewer. <– Not sure if that one is true, though.

That's just to name a few! So funny!
