on the drive home from Portland

31 Mar

Laura:  “You know what’s sad?”

Me:  “What?”

Laura:  “I never got to go to class drunk.”

Me:  “It’s just the end of March.  Why can’t you still do it?”

Laura:  “There are no good classes to be drunk in.  They’re all too important.”

Me:  “Well, FINE.  We’ll just have OUR OWN CLASS, in our apartment, and be drunk then!”

Laura:  “Haha!  It’s called ‘Friday’.  First lesson, Sci Fi Channel, 101.”

Me:  “First homework, CHUG.”

But will apartment class really be the same? What about attending someone ELSE’S class drunk?

I suppose we’ll just have to crash somebody else’s apartment while they’re drinking! 🙂

You could go to someone else’s class drunk! Tag along to one of those huge lectures and sit in the back somewhere.

Ha! I very much like this idea! Our roommate Tess is a theatre major, which would pretty much be perfect.

I’ve never been to class drunk, either. Sadly my classes are all in the morning, otherwise I’d make it a goal.

Last semester we had an evening poetry class that would have been PERFECT, but we never got around to it. Oh, wasted opportunity! 😉
